Arriving by train

Salzburg Hauptbahnhof has frequent connections to Vienna, Germany via Munich, western Austria and Switzerland.

The Station is just a 5-10 min walk from the venue, but you can also take the bus to „Kongresshaus“ (trollybus line no. 1, 2, 3, 5 or 6 – two stops towards the city center).
A bus ticket is 3,00€ a taxi ride will be about 10,00€

Arriving by plane

Salzburg Airport has scheduled connections to Vienna, Frankfurt, London, Istanbul, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Berlin, …

From the airport you can take the trolleybus (line no. 2) to „Kongresshaus“.
A bus ticket is 3,00€, a taxi ride will be about 30,00€

Furthermore, the major international airports in Vienna and Munich are only about 2 to 3 hours away by train.

Arriving by car

From Germany and western Austria you can use the motorway A8 from Rosenheim/Munich.
From the east (direction Vienna and Linz) you will arrive via the Westautobahn A1 and from the south you can use the Tauernautobahn A10.
Please note that a toll sticker is required on austrian motorways.

Take the exit Salzburg Mitte – leave the big roundabout in direction "Salzburg Mitte" and follow the street course. After approximately 2,5 km you will cross the river Salzach on the Lehner Brücke. Turn right on the first traffic-light after the bridge. Pass under the rail bridge and turn into the third street on the left hand side (Auerspergstrasse). The Salzburg Congress is coming up on your right side after the Sheraton Hotel
