- All registered participants (on-site and virtual) will receive a link after the conference and can watch all recordings for 3 months.
The European Bone Marrow Working Group (EBMWG) welcomes you to the XVII International Bone Marrow Course and Workshop, which will take place from April 10th to 12th, 2025 in the charming city of Salzburg, Austria - the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and home to the world-renowned Salzburger Festspiele. The city, nestled at the edge of the Alps, is also internationally famous as the filming location of The Sound of Music.
The venue of the meeting is the Salzburg Congress located in the heart of the city. The meeting begins with a half-day bone marrow course that serves as an introduction to the main scientific program.
In the meantime a high number of highly interesting cases have been selected by the panel members for either individual oral presentations by the submitting colleagues or case summaries by the session chairs. The selected cases give a perfect overview over the three topics of the Bone Marrow Workshop, i.e., (1) Histiocytic and dendritic cell proliferations, (2) Myeloid neoplasms with unusual patterns of disease progression other than acute leukemia, and (3) B-cell lymphoproliferations in the bone marrow without defining molecular features.
A major emphasis will be to highlight advances in our understanding of the molecular pathogenesis and patterns of disease progression, particularly as they relate to the diagnosis, prognostication, and treatment of these disorders.
The invited faculty and speakers include internationally recognized haematopathologists, haematologists and basic scientists, who will address recent advances in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, classification, treatment and prognostication of bone marrow disorders with special emphasis on the specific Workshop topics.
We encourage you to register for the Course and Workshop and look forward meeting you in Salzburg to share knowledge and discuss the latest advances in bone marrow pathology
